Gorica is a small village with great historical importance. With its surrounding areas Gorica represents an exceptional example of archeological treasures and rich cultural heritage. Researchers have found that the old church of st.Stephen (sv.Stipana) was built on the foundations of an early Christian basilica, which testifies life in this area during Roman era.
